Announcing 5 New Presenters for Art Ed Now!

As you may have heard, the 2017 Art Ed Now Summer Online Conference is only six weeks away. Make sure you mark your calendar for Thursday, August 3rd!

It will be a day full of incredible professional development, featuring presentations that will cover some of the biggest, brightest, most up-and-coming ideas in art ed!

Presentations You Won’t Want to Miss

You may have heard that Sir Ken Robinson will deliver the featured presentation and seen some of the other amazing presenters. But today, we’re excited to add five new presentations to the already outstanding lineup!

  • The always popular, always engaging, and always informative Cassie Stephens will share some incredible clay projects that you can do with or without a kiln!
  • George Szekely will discuss the importance of play when it comes to our students’ creativity.
  • Nora Graham will show you an exciting way to explore photographic processes, even without a darkroom!
  • Ruthie Post will give you the advice you need to survive and thrive as a traveling art teacher.

Plus, AOE Senior Instructor Shannon Bell will demonstrate a variety of awesome drawing techniques using Stabilo pens. If you were lucky enough to be one of the first 1,500 people to register, you will have the chance to work right along with her! Be on the lookout for a valuable set of Stabilo pens in the swag box that will get delivered right to your door!

Don’t Forget the After Pass!

If that isn’t enough, remember that you can access the entire conference, including all of the incredible presentation handouts, for a full year after the conference ends!

Dive deeper into the rich resources provided by each presenter PLUS access more bonus presentations than ever before! That’s a total of over 30 videos to keep you inspired throughout the school year!

Some of the After Pass highlights will include videos from Matt Young on teaching simple jewelry techniques, Craig Huffman on drawing from observation, and Johanna Russell on setting up effective and efficient centers in your classroom, plus many more.

If you are looking for great ideas for your classroom, time to get your hands dirty and make art, or just looking for something to give you a jolt of inspiration for the new year, Art Ed Now will have it all. If you’ve never attended one of our conferences, there has never been a better time to give it a try!
