Zach Mory

Adjunct Instructor

Zach Mory comes from Cottage Grove, WI, a few miles southeast of Madison. Initially trained as in life drawing, his work slowly turned toward the abstract and non-objective possibilities of artmaking as his undergraduate schooling continued at The University of Wisconsin-Madison. In the spring of 2008, he received his MFA from UW-Madison with a concentration in drawing. After finishing graduate school, he began taking courses at the College of DuPage in their Graphic Design program, where he completed his degree in 2013.

Since his graduation, he has exhibited extensively and taught various art courses throughout Wisconsin and Illinois at UW-Madison, Carthage College, Lawrence University, Ripon College, Waubonsee Community College, College of DuPage. He also teaches Photo 2, Drawing, and Art and Design at Wheaton Warrenville South High School.

Currently, he lives in Glen Ellyn, IL, with his wife Melanie and their beautiful daughters Josephine and Lilah, all while teaching and drawing daily!
