About the Author

Annaliese Pixton

I’m passionate about technology providers and educators coming together to do what’s best for students. I have fifteen years of experience in education management and technology, including a Level II teacher certification in elementary and special education, M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction Design, and MBA. As a public educator, I served as a paraprofessional, federal programs administrator, and most jobs in between. Before joining AOEU, I served students and teachers as a founder, co-founder, and CAO. Through that work, I’ve become an expert in federal programs funding, education policy, and educational technology.

I love reading bad fiction and complex policy, visiting the ocean with my husband, and being a mom to five kiddos + Charlie the Golden Retriever.
