Candido Crespo

I first learned about AOEU through Art Ed Radio. I’ve been a long-time listener.

I am a husband, father, Artist, and Art Educator. I’ve taught in the Central Islip Union Free School District in Central Islip, New York, for 14 years. My educational philosophy is truly rooted in relationships and community. I am a firm believer that art teachers are at their best when they not only teach others but also create for themselves. I am currently exploring painting, printmaking, and NFTs. I also founded an initiative that aims to help fathers/guardians add creativity to their parenting toolbelt through community-based workshops.
