About the Author

Catherine Nasser

I am Catie Nasser, an art educator, and art therapist. I have been working with children in the arts for over fifteen years in a variety of public, private, and therapeutic settings. I am committed to using art as a tool to help youth find their voice and express their thoughts and ideas.

I currently live and teach in Massachusetts with my husband and two children. This is my eleventh year teaching elementary art. I teach a range of fine art mediums as well as incorporate arts integration, Social-Emotional Learning, STEAM, and Project-Based Learning. I love showing young artists how they can take their creativity to new levels with elements such as animation, robotics, kinetic sculpture, and coding.

I am excited to be a member of the AOEU community. I look forward to sharing my passion and knowledge with this incredible network of art educators.
