About the Author

Erin Eimer

Hola! My name is Erin Eimer. I am a Kansas City native, enjoying the constantly changing Midwest weather and filling my free time with cycling, home improvement, creating in any format, and general shenanigans.

Throughout my time in education, I have taught K–12 and adult learners in a variety of programs and environments, from public schools, alternative settings, community arts programs, and corporate compliance.

I truly believe in the role of education and its transcendent impact on people’s lives. I focus on an evidence-based, student-centered, and holistic approach to teaching and professional development. My philosophy is that creating the best teachers is the best way to help students. This philosophy is what brought me to AOEU, first as a patron, then as an adjunct instructor, and now as a Learning Experience Designer.

“Leadership is the art of giving people a platform for spreading ideas that work.” – Seth Godin
