About the Author

Jennifer Gurss

Hi there! I am Jennifer Gurss, a Regional Sales Manager here at AOEU, serving the central and western parts of the country. To say that I am thrilled to be a part of this great organization would be an understatement!

Anybody that knows me knows that I have a passion for all things education, and from a very young age, I always knew that I was going to be a teacher. I had the honor of serving learners in the K–12 space for twenty years, so when I saw what AOEU was doing to empower art teachers to be their best, it was a no-brainer for me to join this team!

On the personal side, I married my high school sweetheart, and together we have two daughters that make me proud every day! In my free time, I love to read, garden, and spend time with my family. However, my absolute favorite thing is to travel to different countries and learn everything I can, from customs to cultures. The older I get, the more I realize that we all have so much in common regardless of nationality!
