My first experience with coding began with WordPress. As a writer, I found a home with blogging. Soon, I discovered I could change the content of my blog by changing the elements in the HTML. I didn’t know I was coding. I was playing. Fascinated, I signed up for Front End Web Development and PHP courses at Code Louisville, a learning environment for adults wanting software training to access the Technology field. This experience changed my life. It provided the skills necessary to acquire my position as a Quality Assurance Engineer. It’s my love of learning and experience in the field that brings me to AOEU.

When I’m not verifying software behavior, I’m probably cooking, reading, writing, out in the garden, crocheting another scarf, or at one of the local climbing gyms. I live in Kentucky with my husband and dance partner, Donovan, and our three kiddos, Johnathan, Julia, and Katie.
