About the Author

Kacie Mummert

Hello! My name is Kacie Mummert. I started with AOEU as a user of PRO and FLEX within my own visual arts classroom. After teaching for 12 years, I am thrilled to serve art educators across the country as a School Success Manager. My passion is supporting teachers! Oftentimes, students view the arts as their safe space or motivation. Anything I can do to help empower teachers to make that space even better is what it is all about!!!

I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have two amazing children. We love exploring new towns, eating local, spending time with family, and hosting Taco Tuesday! As an artist, I have a love of film photography and visual journaling. Something about being in a darkroom and hand processing film brings another level of connection to my art.
