About the Author

Kara Naig

I am Kara, and I am so excited to meet you all, albeit virtually!  I bring with me a diverse career background, from the travel industry to healthcare; however, with all my experiences, the skills that have served me best are problem-solving, being growth-focused, and strong communication – my passion.  The written word, a photograph, videography, art in all its forms – all of these are communication.  I am thrilled to share my passion for communication and my appreciation for lifelong learning as a member of the AOEU team.

Outside of my work at AOEU, I enjoy a good outdoor run, curling up with a great book, listening to a live band, traveling practically anywhere, and photography.  Many Friday nights you can see me on the sidelines of a football game or courtside of a basketball game, documenting the trials and tribulations of the young athletes of northern Iowa, where I freelance as a sports photographer.

As Eleanor Roosevelt said, the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. I intend to make dreams come true with AOEU and in all facets of my life!
