About the Author

Simeon Cardwell

I’m Simeon, and I love my work! Before coming to AOEU I spent 10+ years working for educational technology “start-ups”—most of which are based in the heart of Silicon Valley. At AOEU, I noticed an opportunity to have a significant, sustainable impact on art education at an organization that deeply cares for those they serve. In sales, I get the privilege of advocating for art educators to receive our high-quality, equitable curriculum and professional learning resources. And the best part is my role combines what I’m good at (consultative selling) with what I love (creativity and personal growth). I truly enjoy coming in to work every day knowing that I’m making a significant, lifelong impact on art education and ultimately the kids we serve.

Outside of work I spend my time with my wife and four children in northern California enjoying the outdoors, sailing, creating music, and beating my kids at Mario Kart™.
