I’m Stephen, and I’m so excited to be part of AOEU! I observed AOEU from a distance for a few years through friends and one-time work colleagues, Gabriel Thompson and Simeon Cardwell. I noticed how they talked about the organization, team, and cultural health. I resonated deeply with terms used by them and the founders, like ‘meaningful work,’ ‘purpose,’ ‘responsibility,’ ‘impact.’ So when I saw the opportunity to join, I jumped!

When I’m not at work, I’m a full-time husband and dad of three. I moved in 2021 from Northern California to Greenville, South Carolina, and was born and raised very “off-the-grid” in the backwoods of Alaska. You’ll find me at kids’ soccer games and swim lessons, actively investing in a community of like-minded people, or watching a show with my wife. I enjoy fishing, boating, extreme Alaskan adventures, and pushing myself physically.
