Alternative Process Option Six: Chemigrams
What is unique about chemigrams, is that you don’t necessarily need to shoot any images! Using darkroom chemicals and mark-making materials you can create interesting and dynamic imagery. Some might argue that the resulting images are less photography, and more abstract art form. How do you weigh in on this conversation? Consider this as you explore chemigrams on your own.
Note: Working with darkroom chemicals can be dangerous if you do not take the proper precautions to protect yourself, your students, and your working space. Please review the following important website prior to embarking upon the chemigram process.
