Description

Students will plan a design, identify a location, and create a graffiti chalk illusion. They will investigate and explain the implications and responsibilities of chalk graffiti, private property, necessary permission, and material cleanup.

Steps

Design the Optical Illusion

Learn about graffiti and street as art forms. Draw a quadrilateral with parallel top and bottom lines on black paper using a ruler and white pencil. Elongate the left side to create a corner. Draw a line from the top left corner to the base, creating a right angle.
