Description

Students will create graffiti stickers that reflect individual and group identity using mailing labels and markers. They will investigate how viewers may experience art differently depending on the venue it is presented in while creating their graffiti stickers.

Students will create stickers that reflect self and group identities based on the brainstorming exercise.

Students will demonstrate persistence as they create multiple sticker designs.

Introduce the idea of stickering as a form of graffiti.
Facilitate brainstorming about self and group identity, identifying images that can be used to represent those ideas.
Demonstrate basic strategies for drawing and coloring stickers.
