Description

Students will repurpose envelopes to create miniature books. Students will use the envelopes to convey their feelings about home, school, and community. Students will share completed books with peers.

  • Five envelopes per student
  • Glue stick and white glue
  • Drawing paper, cut to fit inside envelopes
  • Pencils with erasers
  • Thin-tip markers
  • Ribbon, 30" long per student

Steps

Create Envelope Books

Apply glue with a glue stick to the inside flap of the first envelope. Place the next envelope on top of the flap. Make sure each envelope aligns with the top of the next and faces the same direction. Press the envelope to adhere.
