Students will explore the art of stop motion video by designing a bug with a variety of materials. They will create labels for each part of the bug, show its assembly, and evaluate the success of the stop motion animation in communicating the parts of the bug.

Steps
Create Bug Parts
Discuss the parts of a bug.
Design a bug by using a template, drawing freehand, or gathering natural objects or found materials. Keep each part of the bug separate.
Cut out the labels for the bug parts.
