Pop Op: Flag Accordion Book

Lesson Plan

Description

Students will analyze and discuss op artists and the commonalities among them. They will create a patterned-flag accordion book with card stock and construction paper and design op art-inspired black ink patterns that will be arranged to create optical and physical movement.

Analyze and discuss op art artists and commonalities among styles, artwork, and movements. Cut a piece of paper to 6" x 8". Create two columns of six 4" x 1" rectangles for a total of twelve.
