Students will create a collaborative, color field community installation inspired by abstract and site-specific artists. Students will use various paint application techniques, such as splatter or pouring while creating negative space with painter’s tape.

3" x 4" housing tar paper
Acrylic paint
1", 2", and 3" blue painter’s tape
Zip ties, duct tape, craft knife
Brass grommets, hammer, or grommet tool
Camera, printer, and cutting mat
Variety of preservation materials, i.e. sealants & fixatives
Optional: variety of spray paints
