This lesson is a great way to introduce your students to the idea of critique. Using a simple game, students are asked to look carefully at, and talk thoughtfully about different works of Abstract Expressionism. Taking this new knowledge, students are then challenged to create their own works of art that deal with emotions. Adding a layer and a generous dose of 21st Century skills, students complete their final pieces in the computer lab.
