This highly-customizable lesson will keep your students engaged from the moment they walk through the door. It’s a wonderful way to review the primary and secondary colors with your younger students. To adapt it for older grades, you could push the color theory further, asking them to mix tertiary or neutral colors or to use a specific color scheme. Of course, letting students of any age invent their own colors is another fun way to go. When finished, these look fantastic displayed in one, enormous grid. If you’re looking for a less messy take on Kandinsky, check out Jessica’s cut paper version here!
