There’s no doubt about it, students love printmaking. They also love abstract art and design. What could be better than combining the two into a beautiful quilt- inspired printmaking lesson? While you’re at it, you can even sneak in a little history by discussing how quilts played an important role in the Underground Railroad. I usually allow at least four days for this exciting, challenging project.
