In this course, learn to apply a strategic and tactical approach to curriculum planning, beginning with the end in mind. You will intentionally curate national, state, and district standards to create a foundational framework unique to your needs. Implement formative and summative assessment metrics and scaffolding processes to facilitate academic achievement for all learners with built-in checks for understanding. You will leave this course with an original curriculum map ready for implementation and practical curriculum design skills to support future curriculum endeavors.
Note: Credits earned cannot be applied to the Master of Arts in Art Education degree program requirements.
