National Topics in Art Education

Relevant professional development is an investment in the future of teaching, professional learning, and academic growth for the students art teachers serve (NEA, 2019). In this course, participants will attend the 2023 National Art Education Association (NAEA) National Convention, with more than one hundred in-person, hybrid, and virtual sessions from a diverse scope of art education leaders. This self-directed, three-week course allows participants time to explore their conference experience and deeply extend learning to their classroom practices. Participants will reflect on their learning of current national topics and ideas presented at the NAEA 2023 National Convention through an application of learning and personal reflection.
