Quality teachers are the essential ingredient to fostering a rich educational experience. For teachers to be at their best, it is crucial to provide time, resources, and community for educators to prioritize themselves, their lives, and their goals. Through reflective practices, participants will identify their personal and professional growth areas and prioritize personal wellness by establishing healthy boundaries. By the end of the course, participants will design a sustainable action plan targeting their own needs or produce a professional development plan to help others create a balanced, rested, and abundant life.

Action Plan for Rejuvenation
Using reflective practices and new learning from the first two weeks, combine identified growth areas and a SMART goal-inspired action plan template to design your personalized wellness action plan. Get creative when visually representing the elements of your plan.
Reflect on your journey through this course and how knowledge and self-understanding can become a new practice for future rejuvenation.

Consider the importance of identifying growth areas and the impact such variables have on a feeling of balance and healthy boundaries. Conduct research through diverse resources such as scholarly articles and podcasts on stress management, self-care strategies, and taking stock in oneself.
Consider one growth area that needs focus to meet the goal of becoming a more rejuvenated teacher. Describe what a healthy balance for that growth area could look like.
3. Practical, Hands-On Application
Using the Healthy Boundaries Meter resource, define “not enough,” “too much,” and a “centered” balance. Consider strategies to remind yourself of the need for balance and maintain “centered."
