Keri Reynolds, Ed.D

Adjunct Instructor

Greetings! I have taught art to a variety of age levels ranging from kindergarten to adult in various capacities and community settings and am a National Board Certified Teacher. I also have extensive experience teaching 2D art courses and serving as a National Art Honor Society Sponsor, Department Chair, and Visual Arts Lead in public school settings at the secondary level. My research interests include contemporary art and community-based arts practices, and I have published and presented my work in educational journals and at national conferences.

I value the importance of the visual arts and their ability to foster creativity, critical thinking, and enrich daily life across the community. I also value the importance of being a lifelong learner, being receptive to new ideas, and instilling a love for learning through art with children and adults. Learning through art nurtures personal growth, and transforms and inspires others in schools and beyond!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, including hiking and exploring different state and national parks. I also enjoy reading and working on service projects in my local community. I am glad to be part of the AOEU faculty to support and collaborate with educators who are passionate about art education!
