Director of Community Engagement

I started my career as an elementary art teacher and became one of AOEU’s first contributing writers in 2012.  Since then, I’ve been privileged to oversee content development at AOEU in various roles, including Senior Editor, PRO Director, and Director of Professional Development and Media.

In my current role as Director of Community Engagement, I am thrilled to work to celebrate and empower teachers by helping them connect through our magazine and podcast content, online events, and community spaces.

Outside of work, you’ll find me trying to perfect my gluten-free baking skills, digging into a good book, or hanging out with my husband and our two growing kiddos.
