Rachel Kline, MFA
Adjunct Instructor
Hello! I am a Kansas City, Missouri based artist and art educator, where I have taught high school art since 2008 in suburban school districts. I received my Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2019. Additionally, I attended Parsons School of Design, earned my Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Connecticut, and received my Master of Arts in Teaching K-12 Art Education from Park University.
As a maker and educator, I enjoy many art media, especially ceramics, fiber arts, and drawing. I am passionate about students thinking critically and developing a strong artistic voice through exploring processes, achieving technical competence, and integrating concepts.
When I’m not in the classroom or studio, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, and gardening. I look forward to working with AOEU students to incorporate new techniques and bring excitement to the classroom!
