Stacie Mizell, Ed.D.

Adjunct Instructor

Hi, everyone! My passion for all things creative began at a very young age and has continued to shape my work as both an educator and artist. I am especially interested in how creativity supports whole-child development and teacher wellness. Whether I am teaching future educators, current educators, or designing curriculum, my goal is to help my students reconnect with their creative identities. In addition to teaching in higher education, I bring more than a decade of experience as a K–12 classroom teacher.

Outside of teaching, I am also a certified yoga instructor, and I enjoy integrating mindfulness, movement, and reflective artmaking into both my professional and personal life. When I am not working, I value time spent making art, practicing yoga, and designing Airbnb spaces. I also enjoy almost all outdoor activities, especially those involving water!
