Victoria Watson, MA
Adjunct Instructor
When I was researching art universities to become more involved in and teach at, I was excited to find The Art of Education University which includes courses in all areas of the visual arts field!
I received my most recent Master of Arts Degree in History with a focus on art/archaeology and I have a passion for and specialization in online learning and distance education. Previously, I worked as an Expressive Arts Facilitator at a hospice and have experience providing therapeutic art sessions in both traditional/non-traditional education settings to students and individuals of all ages. I have also had opportunities to provide workshops and presentations to volunteers and staff for training on the numerous benefits that expressive arts and nature provide to us. In more recent years, I’ve had the honor of assisting local museums with their collections and research.
In addition to AOEU, I currently tutor students both remotely and in person at a local community college in subjects ranging from writing/English, and art appreciation/art history and general history. When I am not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and working on my own watercolors.
