About the Author

Angela Christopher

Prior to joining the AOE team, Dr. Christopher was an assistant professor of graduate art education at Memphis College of Art. In addition to teaching, Angela worked with teacher licensure, clinical practice, and advising thesis students.

Angela has also taught art at all grade levels; PK-5, 6-8, and 9-12. She earned her BFA in fine art, her MAT in instruction and curriculum leadership, and her Ed.D in instructional design and technology from The University of Memphis. Her professional interests include teacher support systems, technology integration, visual arts technologies, and collaboration.

When she isn’t teaching, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, caring for and riding her horses, digital photography, and painting.
