Over the last five years, we’ve had the privilege of highlighting some of the best Art Ed blogs out there in our annual Art Ed Blog of the Year Contest. It’s been so fun to see old favorites grow and change while newcomers gain their footing. Every year, readers are inspired by the lists of winners and finalists.
Therefore, it’s with mixed feelings we announce the retirement of the contest. These days, there are so many ways for people to connect with each other via social media, and we felt five amazing years was as good a time as any to cap things off.
However, we did want to create a one-stop shop for all of our past honorees.
Below, you’ll find all of the winners and finalists from the last five years organized into three categories: Elementary, Secondary, and Other. Each list is organized alphabetically. Any broken links from past contests or blogs that have not been updated in three or more years have been removed.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the contests over the years. Your nominations, votes and amazing blogging have helped bring innovative ideas to so many teachers! Happy reading!
Here are the elementary blogs our readers adored!
Here are the best blogs catering primarily to students in grades 6 through 12.
Here are other blogs and websites that don’t fit neatly into the other two categories.
Once again, thank you to all of the wonderful bloggers for sharing their work!
