Classroom Management

Transform Clean Up Into a Game That Exposes Students to Art History

It’s a struggle to get all of your students cleaned up and lined up quietly before their classroom teacher arrives to pick them up. But did you know it doesn’t have to be so challenging anymore? With this fun, silent game from Susie Belzer, not only will you transform your art room into a gallery, but you’ll motivate students to wrap up class with excellence.

The rules are simple:

  • Your art room becomes an art gallery at night.
  • Take turns with who plays the security guard.
  • Everyone else poses as a statue!
  • The security guard catches moving statues.
  • Moving statues are out and they line up.

Bring in more exposure to art history by showing famous sculptures that students can pose as! This brings in kinesthetic learning and helps them to remember these iconic pieces.

Bring more play into your art room with the Pack, Games in the Art Room in PRO Learning.
