3 Credits|8 Weeks|$1425

Professional practice in art education requires action research to establish a solid foundation of existing knowledge and sound methodology. This course will enable participants to develop a path for their research inquiry, introduce the study, and establish a theoretical research foundation by applying existing literature. Participants will then design a methodology that best assesses their action research questions and develop data collection processes and tools to answer the action research question[s]. Participants will present their action research methodology proposal to the course instructor and begin collecting data.
