Discover how the brain learns through creativity and visual expression! This course explores the intersection of brain science, psychology, and learning to inform and guide evidence-based teaching practices. Educators will gain a holistic understanding of how the brain reorganizes and forms new connections. They will learn about developmental phases, Universal Design for Learning, and critically examine neuromyths and their impact on instruction. They will also learn how to integrate visual journaling and sketchnoting strategies to enhance memory, creativity, and critical thinking. Participants will apply these new insights by creating a customized, neuro-informed classroom plan that supports all learners.
