Nikki Blanchard, Ed.D.

Adjunct Instructor

Hi, I am Nikki Blanchard. I have dedicated over 20 years of my life to the art of education, teaching students from Kindergarten through college. My journey began as an elementary and middle school art teacher, a role that ignited my passion for art and education. I later transitioned to teaching high school art, a move that further deepened my love for the subject and my professional growth. In addition to my teaching roles, I also served as a cheerleading coach for 12 years and an adjunct instructor at Southeast Missouri State University for five years.

Outside of the classroom, I find joy in the simple pleasures of life—being outdoors, spending quality time with my family, and creating art. As I embark on a new chapter as an adjunct instructor at The Art of Education University, I am filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation. This is not the end of my educational journey but a new beginning that promises to be filled with learning, growth, and meaningful contributions.

My life is not just about being an art educator but also about being a wife and a mother. I am fortunate to share my life in Cape Girardeau, MO, with my loving husband, Jason, and our beautiful daughter, Kennedi. Our home is a sanctuary of love and laughter, shared with our three furry companions: Paisley, Ruby, and Stella. This balance between my personal and professional life is what fuels my passion and drive in everything I do.
