Q. Will these classes be accepted through my graduate program?
A. The Art of Education University cannot guarantee credits will be accepted as transfer credit at other institutions. It is strongly advised to check with the degree-granting school, your state, and your district to verify the credits will be accepted for license renewal, salary advancement, or for use in a degree program.
Q. What kind of time commitment does an AOEU course take?
A. Depending on your own pace, the commitment can vary. We tell students they expect 45 hours of contact time per credit. That includes interacting with your peers, research, reading and completing assignments. So for a two-credit course, that’s 90 hours over 8 weeks, or 11 hours a week. This includes online learning, interactions with peers, and reading/assignments outside of class.
Q. How are courses graded?
A. All participants will be given a letter grade for our courses. This letter grade will be scored based upon the rubrics and requirements in the course syllabus. Morningside College and the Art of Education University follow a rigorous academic model to maintain the highest standards and rigor.
