The Art Ed NOW Conference is an online multi-day professional development event designed specifically for K–12 art teachers. Attend relevant presentations with fresh ideas to meet the needs of today’s students. Come together virtually with thousands of art teachers to learn, make art, play games, and win prizes. Earn a certificate of completion for 15 PD hours* and access presentations and resources on demand for a full year after the event with the After Pass.

Winter 2027 registration is offered at three pricing levels:

Super Early Bird: Through August 31, 2026 — $109
Early Bird: Through November 30, 2026 — $139
Regular Registration: December 1, 2026–January 29, 2027 — $159

No matter when you register, your registration includes 15 hours of art-specific professional development, live and on-demand presentations and resources, and a full year of After Pass access. Because Art Ed NOW is completely virtual, there are no travel or hotel costs.

You’ll receive a signed certificate of completion documenting 15 hours of professional development* after the conference. Check with your school or district to confirm how Art Ed NOW hours apply toward your professional development requirements.

You do not have to attend every session live to earn your PD hours; presentations are recorded and available through your included After Pass. Graduate credit is not available for Art Ed NOW.

*Please check with your district to see how PD hours earned at Art Ed NOW may work for you. Graduate credit is not available for this event, as the Art Ed NOW Conference falls outside of the University’s DEAC accreditation.

Yes. Art Ed NOW is designed for K–12 art teachers. Most sessions are applicable for grades K–12, and there are specific hours geared toward elementary and secondary, making it easy to find presentations relevant to the students you teach.

Art Ed NOW features practicing art educators, artists, and experts sharing timely ideas and practical strategies for today’s art room. Presenters are selected for their expertise and tailor their presentations specifically for the Art Ed NOW audience. 

We intentionally curate the lineup closer to the event so sessions reflect what’s most relevant in art education right now. Presenters are announced on a rolling basis, with the full lineup available 10 to 12 weeks before the event.

Art Ed NOW focuses on the topics, challenges, and opportunities art teachers are navigating right now. Sessions offer practical strategies, resources, and ideas you can bring back to your classroom, along with opportunities to make art and connect with other art educators.

Conference presentations are intentionally curated to focus on current techniques, strategies, and best practices in art education.

Individual registration can be paid by credit card or purchase order (P.O.).

Art Ed NOW is a high-energy virtual event that provides inspiration, emerging ideas, live artmaking, and a chance to connect with a global community of art teachers. Registration also includes a full year of on-demand access to conference presentations and resources through the After Pass.

Art Ed NOW is held twice a year, in winter and summer. After Winter 2027, the next conference will be July 30–August 1, 2027.

The winter and summer conferences are designed around different points in the school year, with winter providing a midyear boost and summer helping teachers prepare for the year ahead.
