About the Author

Amber Kane

Amber began her journey with The Art of Education University after learning about it through the NOW conference. She joined the team as a graduate instructor in 2017 and now works full-time with the institution. As the Director of Product Development, she is committed to inspiring and supporting teachers and students.

Amber’s passion for art education stems from a strong desire to teach creative thinking practices and empower all learners to solve problems. While teaching 9–12 grade art, Amber earned her Masters of Education with a concentration in Creativity studies. She continued to teach high school art while designing and selling one-of-kind textiles at galleries, fine craft shows, and trade shows, including New York Now. Kane has experience working with learners of all ages, including eight years of teaching advanced placement courses online to students worldwide. She is devoted to creating curriculum resources that meet the needs of all learners.
