About the Author

Christina Chang

My name is Christina Chang and I am an artist and educator with over 20 years of experience teaching art to students ages 5 to 70. I love helping artists find their artistic voice and passion.

I currently teach students in grades 9-12 at the high school level in Massachusetts. My classes incorporate studio inquiry, design, and creative problem-solving strategies. My goal is to help students of all ages and backgrounds build their self-esteem and growth potential as artists and creative thinkers.

When I’m not in school I spend time with my fantastic family. I am a mom of two amazing children who are growing up way too fast. I also make time to paint and develop my own artistic skills. I have an active studio practice and currently create abstract oil paintings. I live in the Boston area and love heading to the beach in the glorious summers in the New England area.
