Erin Saladino

Well, hello! I’m Erin Saladino, a learning experience designer. I discovered AOEU through my support of K-12 art educators, growing their practices with FLEX Curriculum. I am incredibly honored to be a contributing team member of AOEU, supporting creative stakeholders in designing next-level graduate learning experiences for our university students.

My journey (so far) in art education includes 17 years of elementary art room adventures and district-wide support of K-12 art educators and their programs as a district art education supervisor. From curriculum and professional development design to advocacy efforts and event management, having both classroom and district-level experience has provided the opportunity to appreciate the nuances of both the child and adult learner. I am a firm believer in lifelong learning and consider myself to be a collector of knowledge and experiences. There’s always something new around the corner.

Fun facts: Aside from visual art, I have theatre and classical violin experience under my belt. The arts are such a crucial factor in academic and emotional growth! But my biggest accomplishments are my two daughters and a pretty steady appreciation for trying new things. Projects are my passion. I’m excited to share my passions through AOEU.

Professional Accomplishments:

BA in Visual Art, University of South Florida

MA in Adult Education, University of South Florida

Certifications: K-12 Art and 6-12 Theatre

National Board Certification in Early and Middle Childhood Art
