Kim Marshall

Hello from Massachusetts! I am passionate about cultivating a creative space for all my students to thrive regardless of age, race, or ability. I have been teaching elementary art in Worcester, MA, since 2009. I graduated from Vermont College of Fine Arts with an MFA in 2015. My undergraduate work was completed at UMASS Amherst with a BA in Art Education. I work in a large district with over 50 art teachers K-12. Frequently, I find myself engaged in presenting to colleagues about various instructional strategies and ways to improve students’ art room experience. Inspired by past observations and experiences, I have also had the pleasure and honor of being able to present at art education conferences throughout Massachusetts.

When I am not in the classroom with young artists or supporting other art educators, I spend time with my husband and three young children. We enjoy open-air concerts, exploring new playgrounds, and day trips in search of the best splash parks.
