About the Author

Leslie Walczak

Hi, there! I’m Leslie Walczak, the Learning Management System Technologist here at AOEU. My goal is to ensure our graduate students, faculty, and staff have a seamless experience with our online learning platform.

I began my career developing STEM extracurricular programs for a large non-profit, and after more than five years in the tech startup world, I’m thrilled to be back in education. While my career has been in tech, I’m a maker at heart. I’m grateful to play a small role in supporting art teachers as they empower students to express themselves creatively.

I spend my free time woodworking, crafting, hiking the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my dog, wiping boogers off of my toddler, and enjoying rare moments of calm with my husband over local beers.
