About the Author

Nathan Breitholtz

Nate is an art and design teacher and the Director of Instruction & Technology in Northern Wisconsin. He has been an art educator for over fifteen years and has taught all age levels from pre-school through adult learners. He holds multiple degrees in art education, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, and special education. Nate is passionate about the importance of cultivating a spirit of innovation and invention in all learners. He prides himself on maintaining this attitude in his own artistic investigations.

Nate currently lives in Minocqua, Wisconsin, where he serves in a rural school district.  When he isn’t teaching or leading, he enjoys tinkering with a wide variety of high and low-tech materials, fishing, camping, running, cross-country skiing, and spending time with his family.
