Examine the intersection of neuroscience and educational pedagogy to optimize your art curriculum and support all students.

New neural pathways continue to form at every stage of life. This course explores neuropedagogical learning theories and strategies as they apply to art education to provide a holistic understanding of how to best apply neuro knowledge to teaching practice. Participants will investigate neuroplasticity, neurodevelopmental stages and domains, and the connection art has to learning and memory. Additionally, students will examine neuropedagogical learning strategies to optimize curriculum design that supports students.
