This course will allow participants to explore philosophical perspectives and research methods within the field of K–12 education, specifically art education, as they seek to be a catalyst for change both within the profession and in their personal practice.

As participants embark on their teacher-researcher journey, they will select current art education issues and relate them to their mission and vision of teaching. Finally, participants will begin to design and follow their mission through the lens of action research to advocate for and create change in art education.
