Gabriel Thompson

My journey here began when Simeon Cardwell—a colleague of mine from a previous employer—let me know AOEU was hiring for a position I had been searching for.

As a lifelong musician and creator, the arts have always been close to the core of my being. As a father of four elementary-aged children, I’ve had a deep desire to focus all of my professional energy on supporting and growing the quality of education available. As the Director of School Success, it has been my passion and joy to lead and grow a team of mission-driven professionals in the pursuit of providing world-class support services to art leaders in school districts large and small.

Starting in 2020, my wife and I began traveling The United States in a 40-foot RV with our four kiddos and mini-golden-doodle, Mozzie. While we love visiting beaches, theme parks, and national parks, our most favorite pastime is finding the best local food and coffee America has to offer.
